Some food is good but not all of it. Service is good. Too much kraut on my husband's rubin sandwich.

The only issue with this place is it's very limited access for those who are handicapped. Additional the owner was a bit of a butt today when my friend ask for sweet tea he said "We'll see what we can do." The server returned with the Tea but it was unsweetened. My friend said he had ask for Sweet Tea. She replied that they don't have sweet tea. Why then did the Owner not say so? Simple thing.

Love the half price pizza night. Love to come to Planks at anytime of the week. Anything on the menu Is great. I personally love their hamburgers. But it it's a great night on Tuesday to get together with friends and if you love pizza. Their crust isn't too thick or thin. Their sauce isn't too sweet and they use plenty of cheese. Toppings are plentiful and chopped up and fresh. As far as the establishment, you walk in and they seat you. There is a bar and a big table for Community seating. The ladies restroom is down a couple of stairs. It is always very clean. I have always had excellent service too no matter how busy they were. I forget to add they do have outdoor seating but they are aloud to smoke, bad for asthmatics. All in all it is a great place for everyone.

Lively atmosphere, really good food and portions. Waffle fries are the best.

To the waitress in the red checked flannel shirt who seemed more concerned about some black gloves that somebody had left on the window sill: Thanks for ruining our Valentine's Day lunch! You brought our drinks and then shot the bull with other customers (probably regulars) for at least 15 minutes. You looked over at my wife while you were yakking but ignored her and moved on to another table. You never apologized for the wait or anything. The place wasn't even busy! So we left without getting to eat. I guess we should have worn flannel or looked like country hicks so you would have wanted to wait on us. The sad part is that the food is pretty decent.

Service was slow. Food was ok at best!

If you are not a regular, they will literally make sure they are served before they come to you and not apologize about it.

I love planks. Always a good time for food or drinks! Come on game day for a new experience

It's nice to be able to get a decent Gyro outside of a local fair. Mild Chicken Wings are a bit spicy for mild but the seasoned waffle fries are AMAAAZING!!! Overall, very affordable, quick friendly service in an awesome laid back environment.

I read bad reviews on Yelp and was hesitant to go. But we were greeted when we came in, was seated and everyone was friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Yes it's old but that's part of the charm. I didn't go expecting a five star restaurant experience, just wings, pizza, salads and sandwiches and that's what we got. They do have great salads. The pizza and wings were very good. I didn't have the club sandwich but it looked delicious so I ordered one for lunch tomorrow. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.

One of our favorite places to eat! The employees are always friendly, the food is good, the service is fast and we love the atmosphere.

This eatery is an informal bar-n-grill in a 100-year-old wood-frame tavern. The menu features loaded burgers, pizza, sandwiches, big salads, and a handful of entrees. Also a wide variety of beers and full bar. We visited on a busy Saturday night, and the place was obviously popular. My daughter ate every bit of her fish and chips, and I enjoyed the grilled pork chops. Their side dish choices include German potato salad, not often found in this type of establishment. I give them 4 of 5 stars because the pork chops, while good and juicy, might benefit from a good herb and spice rub before going on the coals. Service was very friendly and efficient. No one should leave this place hungry!One important detail to add: Plank's website indicates that they are CLOSED on Sundays!

We were craving fish and chips and the offerings from Planks hit the spot. Bon appetite.

Great steak at Planks. Who would have thought that Planks would be the place for a great steak? I felt like having a steak so, I gave it a try and was very pleasantly surprised! It was as good as any Sirlion I've had anywhere!

This is a cool, relaxed little restaurant/bar. The beer on tap is always fresh and cold. The food here is great. Everything I've had has been pretty tasty. Nice place to have a beer and a pizza or sandwich. Def recommend trying it out!

This review was a 4 star because of the food we received. I changed it to a 2 star(and it probably deserves a 1) because at 7:40pm we asked for a box and our bill. It's 8pm now and it's nowhere near busy and we've still not received our to-go box nor our bill.UPDATE hubby found our server and she apologized and said she had a party downstairs. Common sense would say to pass off your table upstairs, or (at the very least) let someone know to give us a box and our bill. Instead of our normal 30% tip(anywhere we go), she received less than 10%

Great place, and food is great. Hate to say, but some days the service is not very good. But I still go back! Oh, but not on band night! Place is to small for loud music!!

This place is just plain to good. The food, the people, the atmosphere. If I lived in this area I’d definitely be known at this place. Stopped in for a club sandwich and left with an experience. The guy behind the bar has is a great character.

Took the family there for dinner recently, and although they were busy with Holiday celebration parties, staff was able to serve us quickly and with a smile. The selection for the family was great, and quality good. Drinks refilled before I asked, and everyone enjoyed the charm and atmosphere.

I feel like this is one of those look local places with a lot of history with the community that builds loyalty and reverence over time. As an outsider, I really felt it was OK. Not bad in any particular way, just not someplace I would go out of my way to visit. The menu was "American" which is fine but neither me or my wife had a meal we were impressed with. I also could not find the men's room which was very odd. The restaurant itself has an ambiance that doesn't reflect the exterior. It looks kind of like an old stage coach type tavern / boarding house on the outside, but the inside is a bar. I would not tell anyone not to go, just keep your expectations in check, enjoy your burger with a beer and appreciate a local establishment with a long history.

I eat here at least 3 times a week for 7 years! Always good food and low prices for a sit down restaurant. Staff are all friendly and they have the best baked wings I’ve ever had! Planks is a staple of old downtown Grove City for a reason.

I went here for the first time a week or so ago. The place was empty, but it still took an hour to get our food. We were not greeted. The lady who helped us was not friendly, nor was she attentive. It was a terrible first impression and we will not be back.

Excellent pizza & great prices. Friendly service. I do prefer the sweet crust of Plank's on Parsons, but will definitely be back to Broadway.

I've been coming here since I was a little baby but this place has great food, the only complaint I'd have is how crowded it gets but that adds to the character!

Unfortunately we didn't get to sample the great looking American menu because they don't allow dogs on the patio. This was a Saturday at 2pm, so no one was on the patio. Why have an outside space if you can't invite all family onto it? :(
